The down-home goodness of sweet potatoes is kicked up with a splash of orange juice, a drizzle of maple syrup and a touch of clove. Topped with a delicate crumble of pecans and brown sugar, these are just like Mama used to make, or better. Two 22 oz. pans, serves 6-8.
Ingredients
Sweet potatoes, unsalted butter, brown sugar, milk, orange juice, pure maple syrup, cinnamon, fresh nutmeg, cloves and salt. Topping: flour, pecans, brown sugar, unsalted butter, salt and white pepper.
Cooking Instructions
Thaw in container with lid in refrigerator for 4-6 hours or overnight before baking.Preheat oven to 375 for at least 10 min. Remove lid and cover with foil. Place on baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes, remove the top/ foil for the last 10 minutes of baking to allow the top to lightly brown.
