Made just for us, this cake is handmade using the original Smith Island recipe handed down from generations, with each impossibly thin layer laying atop a rich chocolaty icing. Serves 10.

Remove from plastic wrap prior to thawing. Allow cake 4-6 hours to thaw. Slice and serve and room temperature.

Cake: Sugar, Enriched Bleached Wheat Flour (Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid) Vegetable Oil Shortening (Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Propylene Glycol Mono and Diesters if Fats, Mono and Diglycerides), Leavening (Sodium Bicarbonate, Diacalcium Phosphate, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate, Monocalcium Phosphate, 2% or Less of Wheat Starch, Salt, Dextrose, Polyglycerol Esters of Fatty Acids, Cellulose Gum, Artificial Flavors, Xanthan Gum, Colored with Yellow 5 Lake & Red 40 Lake.

Icing: Butter (Pasteurized Cream, Salt, Contains Milk), Cocoa Powder, Evaporated Milk (Milk, .5% less Dipotassium Phosphate, Carrageenan, Vitamin D), 10x Sugar (Sugar, Cornstarch).

Contains: Milk and Wheat. Cakes are processed in a facility that uses walnuts and peanuts.
