Keep frozen until ready to bake. Cook thoroughly.
Preheat conventional oven to 385°F. Remove pot pie from box and wrapper. Do not remove metal baking tray. Brush top and edges lightly with an egg wash or milk. Bake on center rack for 70-90 minutes. Continue to cook in 5-10 minute intervals as needed to ensure a minimal internal temperature of 165°F as measured by a food thermometer into the center of the pie. If crust is browning too quickly or becoming too dark, cover edges or tent pie with foil.
Oven temperatures vary - adjust time according to your oven. Do not prepare in microwave or toaster oven.
