An Urgent Notice to Our Customers Regarding Holiday Shipping


To Our Chesapeake Bay Crab Cakes & More Family:

For many of us, the holidays may look a little different this year, and my hope is you can connect in a meaningful way with those special to you.

In order to protect the health and safety of our employees as well as our customers, we are taking extra precautions in our offices, call centers, and fulfillment centers, which requires more time to process and ship orders. Both Federal Express and UPS have indicated that they will have record-setting volumes to deliver in the coming weeks, only increasing the closer we get to Christmas.

Here are some updates to our usual holiday ordering guidelines:

-We highly recommend you select either Nov. 30th (or no later than Dec. 7th ) as a ship date
-If you must ship your order Dec. 14th or later, please know that we cannot guarantee any exact dates, except that we will get it there by Christmas
-Please order early and allow extra time to receive your order. It is possible that we may have to suspend ordering the closer we get to Christmas, if we see our warehouses running behind schedule
-If your order is needed for an exact date please leave extra time, at least a week is recommended
-Ordering and shipping early ensures the best selection of holiday items, if something happens to your order in transit, we have time to correct it
-Include an email address if you have one, given our unprecedented call volumes, it’s the best method for non-emergency communication
