Herb Roasted Whole Turkey: Pre-heat conventional oven to 330°F. Remove the thawed turkey and all the juices from the vacuum packaged bag and place it into an oven safe roasting pan. If you do not have a roasting pan, remove the Turkey from the vacuum packaged bag and place it into an oven safe pan that has at least 2" sides. Add 1 cup of water to the bottom of the pan. Cover the pan tightly with the proper lid or with aluminum foil and place it on the center track in the oven. Re heat for 1 hour, covered. Carefully baste the turkey every 15 minutes with the liquid in the pan. Keep the turkey covered for the entire hour of re-heating. Remove the turkey from the oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes, covered. Baste the turkey a few times during the resting period. Slice and serve.
Cajun Fried Whole Turkey: Thaw in refrigerator 48 hours prior to cooking. Preheat oven to 300°F. Place thawed turkey in baking pan and cover with foil. Cook 5 minutes per pound, approximately 1 hour.
Cajun Fried Turkey Breast: Turkey arrives fully cooked and can be eaten hot or cold. Thaw in refrigerator for approximately 24 hours prior to heating. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Remove the plastic wrap, leave it in the foil (this foil helps hold all the moisture in the turkey breast). Place the breast in a pan, slide in the oven and re-heat for 30-45 minutes. Peel the foil back, slice and serve.
