Country Brunch

Spiral-Sliced Party Ham™ and Maple Sugar Glaze: If frozen, thaw in refrigerator for 24-48 hours. Keep ham refrigerated until ready to use. Do not leave out of refrigeration for more than 2 hours.
Hot Ham: Preheat oven to 325°F. Bake covered for 75-95 minutes and heated throughout, then follow glaze instructions during final 10-15 minutes.
Cold Ham with Warm Glaze: Skip heating. Preheat oven to 425°F. Uncover ham and place cut-side down in a baking dish. Brush glaze generously over ham and between slices, sprinkle with extra sugar (optional). Bake for 8-10 minutes, then broil for 2-3 minutes, watching closely. Baste with pan juices before serving.

Classic Sliced Bacon: Keep refrigerated until ready to use. Thaw overnight under refrigeration.
Pan Fry: Place bacon in an unheated skillet. Cook on medium heat, turning frequently, until desired crispness is reached. Drain on paper towels.
Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Place bacon on a rack set over a sheet pan. Bake for about 10 minutes or until crisp. Drain on paper towels.

Buttermilk Pancake Mix: Shake bag before opening. Beat together 1 cup milk and 1 egg. Blend in 3 Tbs. good vegetable oil. Add 1 cup mix and stir only enough to blend; set aside to thicken. Heat electric frying pan to 400°F. Makes 10-12 pancakes.
