COVID-19 Safety Updates

The safety and well being of our customers and employees are our top priority and at the heart of every decision we make at Chesapeake Fine Food Group. We are dedicated to ensuring that everyone is updated on preventative practices as recommended by the CDC to ensure that our corporate office, call center, and shipping warehouses remain safe and healthy environments.

As the premier source for gourmet foods via mail order, our food manufacturers have always been held to the highest standards of cleanliness and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). This includes implementing preventative measures for all viral and bacterial intrusion, including COVID-19. We consistently hold our products among those of the highest quality in the food industry.

Currently, there is no evidence to support the transmission of COVID-19 associated with food or food packaging of any type. However, as both the FDA and CDC suggest, it is always important to follow safe food handling practices when handling or preparing food. Examples of this are washing hands and surfaces often, separating raw meat from other foods, cooking to the appropriate temperature, and refrigerating foods promptly.

As of today, we are experiencing no issues or delays with our frozen food deliveries. However, if you are ordering for the upcoming April holidays (Easter 4/12, or Passover starting 4/9) and have room in your freezer, we highly encourage you to ship your order as soon as you possible to avoid any unforeseen delays that may occur in the coming weeks.
